21st Street parklet planting & seating
21st St & Penn Ave · Vacant-lot greening / pocket park
The Impact
A green pause in the busy Strip — built by neighbors, no new taxes, funded only in full. A bike rack alongside the benches makes this corner useful for cyclists on the Strip's busy delivery-and-bike-traffic streets, not just pedestrians. Native beds mean less mowing and upkeep than a standard patch of grass would need.
Scope
Convert an underused corner into a small parklet with native beds, two benches, and a bike rack.
