Brereton Street steps safety upgrade

Brereton St steps, Polish Hill · City-steps revitalization (partial)

The Impact

Make the climb safe again — a beloved Polish Hill shortcut restored. Brereton Street's stairway is one of the routes Polish Hill residents actually use to get downhill, not a scenic afterthought. New treads and lighting mean fewer close calls on a well-worn set of steps.

Scope

Handrails, tread spot-repair, and step lighting on a well-used Polish Hill stairway.
