Funding

Brownsville Road street trees

Brownsville Rd, Carrick · Street-tree / streetscape greening

The Impact

A greener, cooler main street for Carrick — one corridor, fully funded. New trees along Brownsville Road give Carrick's main commercial strip the kind of canopy its Shadyside and Squirrel Hill counterparts already have. A shaded sidewalk makes the walk between the bank, the pharmacy, and the corner store more pleasant for everyone running errands.

Scope

Plant installed street trees with guards along the Brownsville Road business district in Carrick.
