Business-district street-tree mini-grants

Neighborhood main streets citywide · Street-tree / streetscape greening

The Impact

Greener main streets, one block at a time — funded by neighbors, no new taxes. Instead of one big planting, small grants fund trees on bare blocks in several different neighborhoods at once, wherever a business district asks for them. It spreads the same fix — real installed trees, not saplings left to fend for themselves — across the city rather than concentrating it in one place.

Scope

Small planting grants that put installed street trees on bare business-district blocks across neighborhoods.
