Mellon Square bronze & fountain conservation
Mellon Square · Statue / monument cleaning & conservation
The Impact
Restore a downtown landmark to its shine — a piece of Pittsburgh cared for, not forgotten. This covers both the bronze features and the fountain surrounds, since fixing one without the other would leave the plaza looking half-finished. Mellon Square is a working lunch spot for downtown office workers, so the upgrade is seen daily, not just on special occasions.
Scope
Clean, repatinate, and wax the Mellon Square bronze features and fountain surrounds; minor repair.
