Walnut Street streetscape trees
Walnut St business district · Street-tree / streetscape greening
The Impact
A greener, cooler main street that draws people in — one corridor, fully funded. New trees go in along Walnut Street's storefronts, exactly where shoppers currently have nowhere to escape the sun between stores. A shopping corridor with real canopy reads as a destination, not just a strip of shops.
Scope
Plant installed street trees with guards along the Walnut Street shopping corridor.
